NATIONAL COLLOQUIUM : ISLAM AND DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
On the 22nd October 2019, Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM) organised a National Colloquium on Islamic Understanding discussing the theme “Islam and Disruptive Technologies.” One of the objective of the colloquium is to identify the benefits and risks of disruptive technologies, and how Muslims should respond to the changes brought about by these technologies. This colloquium was organized to explore the development of disruptive technologies from the Islamic perspective. It is hoped that this programme has been beneficial by providing information on Islam and disruptive technologies to everyone watching, insha-Allah.
